Welcome to dcconscripts.org, the online home of Conscripts, the Washington, DC, Metro Area Advanced Squad Leader Club. Conscripts serves all ASL'ers in the greater Washington D.C. area, including Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland (and even die-hards from Baltimore to the north and Fredericksburg to the south).
Conscripts holds monthly meetings, currently alternating between the Game Parlor stores in Chantilly and Woodbridge, Virginia as well as Dream Wizards in Rockville, Maryland. We invite club members who are interested in organizing meetings to contact us. We also hold an annual club tournament and the occasional rules clinic, and we produce a newsletter, typically released to coincide with the Winter Offensive ASL tournament every January.
Advanced Squad Leader players of all skill levels are invited to participate in Conscripts meetings and events. We pride ourselves on being "newbie-friendly" and welcome anyone with an interest in learning and playing ASL.
Play of MMP's Advanced Squad Leader Starter Kit is most welcome at Conscripts meetings and events.

MMP Playtest at Chez Chas a Success
Some twenty people showed up to help MMP with some playtesting for an upcoming Action Pack. The meeting featured MMP honchos--Brian Youse and Perry Cocke--making the official announcement the J7 bridge erratum was no more, complete with Perry wearing a shirt featuring a bridge counter. Our next meeting will be at the Game Parlor in Woodbridge, VA. Details are here on the site as usual, complete with time and a map of the store location. As always, please let us know if you plan on attending and we will make sure you get a game. We hope to see you there.

Next Conscripts Meeting to be Held in Maryland
Chas A. has graciously decided to host the next Conscripts meeting at his house in Maryland. As many know, we have been looking for a place in MD to play ASL for a while. We think we now have two places to meet when in MD. The order of the day for our MD meetings is likely to be play testing for upcoming MMP products. Directions will be sent to the Conscripts mailing list shortly. If you do not get them, you can email any of the Troika below or send a query to the mailing list and I am sure someone will forward them to you. We hope to see you there.

Woodbridge Hosts Conscripts
Another successful 'Scripts meeting was held in Woodbridge. Twelve Conscripts mustered to the event to play some ASL. We were also pleased to host some of the MMP folks looking for a chance to play. In other news, we think we have a line on a Maryland location. Stay tuned for more information. The date and time for our next meeting has been posted. We hope to see you there.
