Welcome to dcconscripts.org, the online home of Conscripts, the Washington, DC, Metro Area Advanced Squad Leader Club. Conscripts serves all ASL'ers in the greater Washington D.C. area, including Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland (and even die-hards from Baltimore to the north and Fredericksburg to the south).

Conscripts holds monthly meetings, currently alternating between the Game Parlor stores in Chantilly and Woodbridge, Virginia as well as Dream Wizards in Rockville, Maryland. We invite club members who are interested in organizing meetings to contact us. We also hold an annual club tournament and the occasional rules clinic, and we produce a newsletter, typically released to coincide with the Winter Offensive ASL tournament every January.

Advanced Squad Leader players of all skill levels are invited to participate in Conscripts meetings and events. We pride ourselves on being "newbie-friendly" and welcome anyone with an interest in learning and playing ASL.

Play of MMP's Advanced Squad Leader Starter Kit is most welcome at Conscripts meetings and events.

July Meeting Details Posted

We will meet once again in Woodbridge for the July Conscripts meeting. For those wondering why, the Chantilly Game Parlor is a little smaller and all the space there is reserved through the Summer.

Bill Stoppel, Jim Mehl, Jack Daniels, and Jim Bishop make up the stern yet benevolent Conscripts Troika. Please contact any or all of them (but not two-thirds; that just gets the one who's left out annoyed) for information about the club.

Our official meetings liaison is Jim Mehl. His portfolio includes all issues relating to meetings and whatever else he feels like dealing with.

For issues relating to dcconscripts.org, the Club Mailing List, or other technical stuff like that, please contact Jim Bishop.

Submissions for the club newsletter should be directed to Bill Stoppel, the newsletter editor.
